POINT PICQUET

Nestled along the spectacular Yallingup coastline, Point Picquet is one of the Cape's most treasured natural landmarks. Although crafted from the renowned Margaret River wine region, this wine finds its inspiration in the rugged beauty and coastal spirit of its northern home.

The headland was first charted in 1801 during French explorer Nicolas Baudin's expedition along Australia's west coast and was named in honour of Sub-Lieutenant Antoine Furcy Picquet. More than two centuries later, Point Picquet remains a place where history, ocean and landscape come together.

Today, its crystal clear waters, ancient granite outcrops and sweeping views across Geographe Bay make it one of the region's most breathtaking coastal destinations and one of the best places to witness the annual whale migration.

The label is a contemporary interpretation of this remarkable landscape. A mosaic of turquoise, sea green, sandstone and soft blush tones reflects the ever changing colours of the bay, from shimmering morning light to the warmth of sunset across the granite shoreline. More than a design, it is a visual expression of place.

Inside the bottle, that same sense of place comes to life. Bright, elegant and expressive, Point Picquet captures the freshness, purity and vibrant character that have made Margaret River one of the world's great wine regions, while paying tribute to the coastline that inspired its name.
